What to do in Saskatoon

Saskatoon is a city on the rise. It is full of beautiful views, delicious food and good beer. Being a smaller city, you might think that there isn't much going on. But boy, oh boy, are you wrong! There are countless good restaurants, three craft brewers, and lots of unique boutiques. Make your next weekend getaway to Saskatoon, who is really starting to live up to its nickname of "Paris of the Prairies".

Here's what we'd recommend for a perfect day in Saskatoon!

Get lunch at Little Bird

The little french café, Little Bird, serves terrific sandwiches and soup. The sandwiches come on your choice of a delicious croissant (our fave), baguette and brioche. And at under $10 per sandwich, you'll have money left over to try one of their incredible pastries for dessert.

Grab a beer at High Key

High Key Brewing Co. is a small microbrewery that is big on flavour! They're located in an industrial area that is a little out of the way, but the beautiful taproom is well worth the visit. They offer both traditional brews and specialty beer that is truly unique.

Get your whiskers trimmed at High Noon

Do you have whiskers, or the capability of growing them? Then do yourself a favour and go visit High Noon barbershop. We've known this crew for a long time, and they're sure to treat you right. Make sure to book your spot in advance, as they book up quickly!

Get dinner at the Hollows

The Hollows is a locally owned/operated restaurant located in the Riversdale neighbourhood of Saskatoon in the historic Golden Dragon building. Their food is made with the best ingredients from the area: cultivated plants grown from heirloom seeds, wild-harvested leaves and mushrooms, flowers, sap and roots, local fish — sustainably raised, pastured meat, poultry and eggs from small farmers.
